Nick Green reportedly livin' the dream


Since her arrival at the start of the 2008 season, NESN's Heidi Watney has been the subject of multiple dating rumors.

First, following the abrupt ending of a twelve-year marriage, Watney was rumored to be dating Red Sox captain, Jason Varitek, although it was never confirmed.

That, of course, was the biggest rumor of them all. That was, until, a new dating rumor came out once a month about the blonde bombshell. After Varitek, a Barstool Sports reader linked Watney to NESN's John Carter.

Back in January, the Boston Herald's Inside Track girls let the cat out of the bag "that NESN vixen Heidi Watney is being squired about town by Paul Williams." This continued the trend of Red Sox-related men, because Williams was involved in the scrap in the Yankees' bullpen during Game 3 of the 2003 American League Championship Series. Williams was arrested and slapped with criminal charges that were later dropped after his altercation with Yankee pitcher Jeff Nelson and "Who are you?" Karim Garcia.

Now, the most recent of the Watney rumors brings us back to the Red Sox's clubhouse. Once again reported by the Inside Track, "Red Sox stud Nick Green and NESN Fenway honey Heidi Watney putting on a major display of PDA while out to dinner with Jacoby Ellsbury and his S.O. Kelsey Hawkins at Maggiano's."



Whether it's true or not, (I've heard Watney has already denied it), all you can say here is: if it's not true, whatever, but if it is true, good for Nick Green. From all the accounts of people who I know who have met Green, he's a very classy guy, who is also a genuinely nice character.



Personally, I'd rather be out in public with Tina Cervasio.
